Sonos Is Not Launching Streaming Video Player Anymore

There were huge hunts and leaks regarding Sonos video streaming player. The gossip was there for a long time that the player is likely to come in the year 2025. 

But recent events at Sonos are not very pleasant. In 2024 the CEO left the company. After the inaugural of a new CEO the rumours of video player launching are dead now. There are some changes in the company. The new CEO is changing things according to his liking. 

Hence the cancellation of the box launch. The media platform “The Verge” always delivers authentic news about sonos. So this news is also correct. 

It was a very good device box because the cost was only said to be 400 dollars. That too with the software on the ads. It was a good start. We are hoping the project will come soon. 

Sonos was set with all the plans. The box was coming with a whole wireless cinematic experience at home. The hdmi switch has the ability of 4K with an almost 120Hz sounding system. This was a new initiative in the TV industry because all the other LED TVs have two HDMI ports. 

Sonos will not have pass-through ports but a wireless porting section. Where HDMI switches will switch between sources easily. This is what was making the sonos version very interesting among people. 

Moreover the box was offering new configurations with the sonos speakers to give you a complete home theater experience. 

The complete sonos sound system consists of the following items.

● Sound bar with the wires going into the TV. 

● Two speakers

● Subwoofer 

The box was going to come here with this entire system. The effect of the box on speakers was coming like the two speakers were going as left and right sources for sound tracks. And the sound bar system will become the centre sound source. 

People were eagerly waiting for something like this. Because the video streaming player is more likely to give everything in the sound system a huge enhancement. 

We do not know for sure what will happen next. Maybe the player box is coming our way but not very soon. Whatever the case is, the fans should put their case to rest now. Because what is happening behind those doors in the company nobody knows.

At least, we have other amazing sounding systems like the dolby atmos soundbar. For now just enjoy the systems as they are. Whenever there is time to make an addition. We will probably turn to Sonos first. If by then the box is not on the market, it’s better to find some alternatives beforehand. Until then enjoy the entire sound system with all its glory.
